From My Clients

We recently sold our house in Kambah with the help and guidance of Sandy Morris of ‘ONEAgency’ Real Estate. From our first meeting with Sandy, through to the auction of our property, we found her and her associates in ‘ONEAgency’ to be professional, enthusiastic and encouraging in all our dealings with them. Sandy explained the current real estate market, taking into account our reasons for selling as soon as practical, and advised us on the best way to present our property for display, as we had no real grasp of how to effectively present a property to maximise its true potential. We were kept fully appraised of the administrative and other requirements to be addressed in selling a property via her emails, phone conversations and personal visits. This gave us the confidence and peace of mind that the selling procedures etc were under professional control.

Additionally, this allowed us time to concentrate on the other personal aspects of the “moving house” process – in our case moving interstate to be with our family. It is fair to say that we both consider that we were pretty lucky stumbling onto ‘ONEAgency’ when we didn’t really have a clue as to where to start looking for a very good real estate agent. For once our “gut-feeling” – plus, of course, high sale statistics etc., paid off. Sandy’s professional advice and personal guidance as to how we could/should consider presenting the property to utilise its true potential was invaluable. We thank Sandy, her ‘ONEAgency’ Real Estate associates and other sale facilitators (e.g. stylists, legal reps, etc) who made this otherwise daunting event as painless as it turned out to be.

My husband and I would not hesitate in highly recommending Sandy Morris for the sale of your property. We found her not only professional but also warm and friendly to deal with. It was an absolute pleasure having Sandy with us to sell our home. From start to finish it was such a smooth and hassle free experience due to Sandy.

Not only is she amazing at what she does but on a personal level she is a wonderful caring person, the salon of our house is done but Sandy will always remain a friend to us. We were extremely happy with our end result – that being that Sandy got us far above the price we had anticipated receiving for our property. Well done Sandy, you are fabulous!

I would like to take this opportunity to thank Sandy Morris from One Agency, for providing us with a very positive experience in the recent selling of our home at 91 Mt Vernon Drive. Having dealt with Sandy several years ago as a purchaser and observing her very real interest in this suburb and professional skills and integrity, I had no hesitation in contacting her to facilitate the sale of our property.

Once again I found Sandy a pleasure to deal with. Organised and communicative at each stage of the process, and supported by a dedicated team, the individualised marketing plan was delivered to a high standard (photos, advertising, inspections) targeting the most relevant buyers, at a reasonable cost. Our home even made it to ACT Home of the Week on two websites including Allhomes! With amazing interest the Allhomes site attracted over 3,000 viewers in just two days. By the end of the first weekend advertised, we were into negotiations, and subsequently were able to sell the home at a price well above that we had advertised!

Prior to our listing with Sandy, we had heard many stories of gloom on the present condition of the real estate market here in Canberra, however, our experience suggested this is not always so.

Kambah offers many unique attributes for families; and with a sensitive, professional marketing approach by the local agent a rewarding outcome might be achieved.

When we decided to sell our house, I did a lot of homework. I read the sales results, tracked several agents and attended auctions. Finally I narrowed my decision down to two agents. One of the agents has a very impressive sales record and I had had several consultations with her, always concluding that she would be the one I chose. But then I decided to more actively consider Sandy Morris. During the first few minutes of that interview, I had changed my mind: Sandy would be the agent I entrusted to sell our house. Both agents had impressive credentials but I found Sandy to be warmer, more approachable and very knowledgeable. I had been advised by the other agent to totally de-clutter the house while Sandy advised me to leave on display the articles that gave character to our house rather than make it appear that no one actually lived here.

The decision to contract with Sandy proved to be the right one. During the entire sales period, Sandy was always available to answer my questions and to soothe my nerves. She is a very “hands on” agent; in responding to some of my questions, instead of giving advice, she simply did what others would have advised me to do. A small example: when I asked what plants I should add to the garden to enhance its appearance, Sandy went out and obtained the plants, delivered them to me and indicated where they should be placed for maximum effect.

Sandy’s advice was always simple but totally comprehensive. We had planned to go to auction but after on 2½ weeks on the market, she brought us an offer that we felt we shouldn’t refuse. The offer was for the price we wanted and the long settlement period we needed. We have never regretted taking her advice on that offer.

I would strongly recommend Sandy Morris to any vendor who wants to have sound advice, clear, succinct and relevant communication on the state of the sales campaign and the confidence that she is working for the vendor rather than for the purchaser or simply to achieve her commission.

No sooner was my home listed on Allhomes when my phone barked at me with numerous realtors enquiring as to why I gave Sandy Morris the responsibility of selling my property.

On reflection they were fair questions and I now have much delight in sharing my thoughts with you. First, I felt totally relaxed in her company and at no time ever felt under any pressure. Second, Sandy displayed a degree of professionalism that I have rarely experience in all my years within the real estate industry. Having been General Manager of the REIACT for eight years this speaks volumes for her. Third, in all our meetings Sandy was always positive. A far cry from a great many of my industry folk who insist on talking the market down.

Now during the course of selling my home I could not have experience a more relaxed or stress free marketing experience. All facets progressed smoothly and without any hiccups.

Sandy, please feel free to pass on my phone details to any of your clients who might care to discuss your real estate skills further.

In closing I simply say to you…THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

I wanted to take this opportunity to feedback on your sales consultant Sandy Morris. I am delighted to say that Sandy made our experience a fabulous one. Our property at 7/70 Minehan Place, Calwell was a unique property to sell in that it was a townhouse in a higher price bracket for which presented a real challenge in a tough and slowing market. Throughout the process, Sandy did her utmost to ensure that our property was marketed professionally and efficiently and more importantly, Sandy just never gave up! Selling a family home can be a very emotional and stressful experience, however, Sandy took away the stress to deliver us an outstanding quality of service that I have yet to experience in my past property transactions with other agents.
